Inspired by the famous Manga series Tokyo Ghoul, local streetwear brand HUMAN released a new collaboration collection featuring eerily cool apparel evocative of the dark, twisted tropes of the series.
Tokyo Ghoul is a Japanese dark fantasy manga series written and illustrated by Sui Ishida. The story is set in an alternate version of Tokyo where humans coexist with ghouls, beings who look like humans but can only survive by eating human flesh. The main character, Ken Kaneki, is a college student who is transformed into a half-ghoul after an encounter with one of them. He must navigate the complex social and political dynamics between humans and ghouls while struggling to maintain his humanity.
The HUMAN x Tokyo Ghoul Collection has a lineup of casual pieces, from graphic tees and printed hoodies to pullovers, sleeveless vests, cargo pants, and shorts.
The collection also offers a selection of accessories, such as tote bags, belt bags, bucket hats, and drawstring bags. In July, HUMAN will release knapsacks, leg bags, body bags, and pouches into the HUMAN x Tokyo Ghoul lineup.
