The pandemic has not stopped Bench from opening its second Bench Beauty stand-alone, fully operational store, this time in SM Megamall.
“We acknowledge that the pandemic is a major disruptor not just in the retail scene but in all aspects of our lives,” said Bench Cosmetics brand manager Haydee Potenciano. “Though we offer our products online, we feel that a physical store still provides that human connection and memorable customer experience.”
She stresses that the store complies with the upmost health and safety standards. “Customers would feel comfortable in our physical store.”
The store even offers a self-service option via a vendo machine where customers can get items with huge discounts—contactless and speedy service transactions.
Customers can get the best-selling Cheek & Lip Tint, eyebrow pencil/tint and even the nail polishes. The store also has other beauty essentials such as face mask, face moisturizer, scents and even alcohol.
Potenciano added that given the uncertainties and restrictions due to the pandemic, one’s usual beauty routine definitely has changed—“But one thing is certain, people by nature would always like to feel good about themselves.”
It’s fulfilling to see customers find comfort in simple pleasures such as having a self-care pack or light makeup for their online meetings. “We want to bring joy to our customers through our various products despite the odds.”
Bench continues creating and serving its customers and aims to inspire others to do the same. “We all need to move forward and we would like to start it now.”
