Streetwear brand takes the cult series and ‘80s era to the here and now. It’s capsule collections
Local streetwear brand HUMAN takes everyday fashion up a notch as it launches a collaboration with the cult-favorite Netflix series Stranger Things. The partnership offers two new, limited-edition capsule collections of apparel and accessories this year whose designs perfectly capture the look and feel of the series’ era—the ’80s.
A special launch party was held in time for Halloween at Sanctuary MNL in Poblacion, Makati.
Inspired by the premier episode of Stranger Things Season 4, the first capsule, “Hellfire Club,” boasts a broad range of graphic tees, pullovers, hoodies, jackets, varsity shorts, and joggers. Each piece features similar red, black, and white color schemes, branded with the show’s title and the episode’s iconic elements.
The collection also includes an array of rad-looking baseball caps, bucket hats, and tote bags.
The second capsule, “California”—deliberately based on one of the show’s quintessential tropes—also offers fashion-forward casual pieces and accessories, and is slated to drop this November.
Since its inception over a decade ago, HUMAN has encouraged streetwear enthusiasts to step out of their comfort zone and live on the edgier side with alternative pieces developed alongside various brands and local designers. Its current partnership with Netflix completely adheres to its brand DNA and is set to turn everyday fashion upside down.
