New line made of plant-based ingredients, toxin-free
With the success of its “Better Made” line—a series of tees and garments made from recycled PET bottles, now the leading local lifestyle brand has launched its Bench Better Made scents.
Haydee Potenciano of Bench said, “As we are offering fashionable products using sustainable materials, we thought of doing the same for scents.”
Potenciano said that Bench wants to offer eco-friendly beauty alternatives not just to eco-conscious consumers but also to everyone, to inspire and drive positive social change altogether.
The Bench Better Made body spray highlights the Green Cedar scent, which contain clean citrus and floral notes like lemon, chamomile and jasmine, blended with sweet, spicy woody notes like nutmeg and tonka bean. “Fragrance has evolved into an everyday essential so the scents were consciously chosen to become timeless, perfect for daily wear,” Potenciano said.
This particular line is a vegan and animal cruelty-free collection made from plant-based ingredients and essential oils. The scents are also toxin-free, phthalate-free and paraben-free packaged in a stylish recyclable glass bottle and eco-friendly box with a retail price of P428.
Potenciano added how they are continuously innovating, “We are looking for other sustainable options so we can offer more scents moving forward. We believe that smelling good and doing good can both be achieved with Better Made.”
