While the De La Salle Zobel Animo Squad consists of members from grade 7 all the way to 12, we are all very close and consider ourselves one big family. We always care for and support each other in and out of training. Our beautiful, strong and passionate team is guided by the most competent and loving coaches, namely coach Andro Garde, coach Lester Go and coach Celine Tanjuatco, who inspire us to be the best version of ourselves.

For the past months we have been training every day. We all take it seriously, but also make sure that our trainings are also fun and enjoyable. The amount of time we commit to this sport is considerable, however, we know this is what is required to be competitive in the WNCAA. Quoting Thomas Fuller, A good archer is known not by his arrow but by his aim.”

Performing before a huge audience at the Junior level is a relatively new stint for the members. In fact, this competition will be everyone’s first time to compete in the WNCAA Juniors division.

We know that our sacrifices and the love that we put into this sport will all be worth it. Our team spirit and positive attitude will drive us to excellence, and with God’s help, possibly be the next WNCAA champions. Animo La Salle!

We always care for and support each other in and out of training.

Each team competing at the WNCAA Season 53 Cheerdance Competition can submit a vlog entry promoting their school, their team and the competition to youmag.ph@gmail.com
