Inspired by PROUDRACE creative director Rik Rasos’ ideas of youth, home, and Filipino love, the set takes its cue from the familiar comforts of a Filipino home: wooden furniture, lace mantels, box TVs, radio boom boxes, and the ever-present soundtrack of karaoke. A little nostalgic, a little chaotic, and very Filipino.
At the heart of it is a distinctly Filipino way of saying I love you — through acts of care. Through pasalubong, through food packed for you, through checking if you’ve eaten, and through balikbayan boxes filled with things you never asked for but somehow needed.
That same feeling runs through I LOVE U. For this fourth collaboration, HUMAN and PROUDRACE revisit the fearless energy of the 2000s through statement graphics, shrunken silhouettes, gender-fluid fits, exaggerated proportions, unexpected details, and reworked pieces from the runway collection. Familiar things, made strange again.
And for the first time, PROUDRACE launches its first fragrance, its first-ever designer Eau de Toilette in collaboration with HUMAN — translating those memories of youth, home, and afternoons spent with loved ones into scent.
