How buying a simple graphic tee or tote could go a long way

MANONG, PARA is a fundraising drive of the UP SUPER (Supporting PWDs through Exercise and Recreation) Organization, a student organization started last year at the University of the Philippines Diliman that promotes sensitivity to disability, inclusion, and empowerment in and through sports and recreation.

This drive features the individual artworks of 21 diverse-ability artists, combined into one and printed on shirts and tote bags. The artists are from the Gentle Giants, a group of talented diverse-ability persons who do art, play music, bake, and engage in sports as a way of building entrepreneurial opportunities within the disability community. They are supported by the Boundless Possibilities Foundation, Inc.

MANONG, PARA was launched on April 19, 2021.

This drive features the individual artworks of 21 diverse-ability artists, combined into one and printed on shirts and tote bags.

The shirts are sold for only ₱275 each, tote bags for ₱250 each and a promo of ₱500 for both shirt and tote bag. Pre-orders are ongoing until May 14, 2021.

10% of the profits will go to the UP Jeepney Drivers who lost their income due to the pandemic. They served as inspiration for the artwork made by the artists of Gentle Giants.

Half of the remaining profits will go directly to the featured artists. The other half will fund future projects of UP SUPER towards a more inclusive society for the PWD community.
