Industry experts tapped for programs

Certificate courses on Photography and Online Learning will be administered in SPaCE 2.0, a program which allows working professionals to gain significant knowledge and skills through virtual sessions to advance their careers.

Organized by The School of Professional and Continuing Education (SPaCE) of the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, they provide training through sustainable plans for employees and their organizations. The sessions will be facilitated by renowned industry pillars and hands-on specialists.

The Disciplines and Practices of a Professional Photographer is tailored to match the skill levels of the participants, to produce future experts with the mastery on key photography techniques, composition, and equipment. It will also tackle techniques on event coverage, digital imaging workflow, and editing software.

Other topics to be discussed are alternative ways to create an image and how to solve problems in real-world shoots.

Lectures are conducted by commercial photographer Ken Go, a Nikon School Philippines Instructor and Asus Zenfone Key Opinion Leader with over 80 photography workshops under his belt. His roster of clients includes Stores Specialists Inc., Rustan’s Commercial Corporation, Robinsons Land Corporation, Ever Bilena Cosmetics, and ORIX Metro Leasing Corporation (Metrobank Group).

The sessions are on September 26 and October 3, 10, 17, 2020. Module fee is PHP11,500. 

Online Enablement Program for Educators is designed to help educators, trainers, and resource speakers easily transition from the traditional mode to digital. It will delve into the roles of an online educator, useful features of a Learning Management System (LMS) for curricula, recalibration of respective instructional content, as well as the effective application of different strategies for quality instruction and engaging modules.

The track is  headed by De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde Digital Technology Office Senior Director Ricson Singson Que CISM, DPO (TUV), who has decades of experience in digital transformation, data privacy, and information security. He has assisted various businesses in retail, personal services, construction, and trading firms on technology projects in strategic, e-commerce, infrastructure, operational and software development activities. 

The tasks will be divided into two phases, to focus on particular modules, set for Septemer 26 and October 3, 10, and 17, 2020. Module fee is at PHP7,995.
